Distance to Obstacles
- The boundary wire must be placed 30 cm from obstacles such as bushes, beds, trees, walls, fences, stone walls, and paths that are not level with the lawn.
- Paved paths level with the lawn can be driven over by the robot lawn mower, but ensure that the wire is not lying loose on top of the path to avoid it being cut.
Note: When the sensors at the front of the robot lawn mower detect the boundary wire, the robot lawn mower will change direction.
Fencing
- Garden ponds and edges under 100mm must be fenced to prevent accidents.
- Be extra cautious in these areas, especially when the grass is wet.
Obstacles
- Remove tree stumps, covers, and other objects that the robot lawn mower may run onto.
- Ensure that these obstacles are level with the lawn.
- If removal or adjustment is not possible, fence the obstacles with the boundary wire at a distance of 30 cm all the way around.
Tall Obstacles
- Robust obstacles higher than 10 cm will be treated as an obstacle by the robot lawn mower, causing it to automatically change direction.
- Fragile obstacles should be fenced with the boundary wire at a distance of 30 cm around the obstacle.
