Distance to Obstacles
- The boundary wire must be placed 30 cm from obstacles such as bushes, flower beds, trees, walls, fences, stone walls, and paths that are not level with the lawn.
- Paved paths level with the lawn can be traversed by the robotic lawn mower, but ensure that the wire is not lying loosely on top of the path to avoid it being cut.
Note: When the sensors at the front of the robotic lawn mower detect the boundary wire, the robotic lawn mower will change direction.
Fencing
- Garden ponds and edges under 100mm must be fenced to prevent accidents.
- Be particularly cautious in these areas, especially when the grass is wet.
Obstacles
- Remove tree stumps, covers, and other objects that the robotic lawn mower may run over.
- Ensure that these obstacles are level with the lawn.
- If removal or adjustment is not possible, delineate the obstacles with the boundary wire at a distance of 30 cm all around.
High Obstacles
- Robust obstacles higher than 10 cm will be treated by the robotic lawn mower as an obstacle and will automatically change direction.
- Fragile obstacles should be delineated with the boundary wire at a distance of 30 cm around the obstacle.
