Magnetic tags.
Scenario: When there is more than one working area.
Instructions:
- Place the magnetic tags on both sides of the path, so the lawnmower can move from area 1 to area 2.
- Ensure that the width of the path does not exceed L = 5 metres, and that there are no obstacles in the way.
- Secure the magnetic tags to the path with pins, and ensure that the arrow over the magnetic tags points towards the opposite area.
- Maintain a distance of 30 ± 5 cm from the boundary for the tags, and ensure that there are no obstacles within a radius of R = 1.5 metres. This rule applies to all magnetic tags.
- W indicates the width of the passage. There must be no obstacles in this passage.
Installation of magnetic strips.
Scenario: When the boundary of the lawn is difficult to see visually (e.g., if there is no edge or boundary between your lawn and the surrounding lawns).
Instructions:
- Use the magnetic strip to create a virtual boundary.
- Lay the strip on the ground, and secure it every 0.5 metres with magnetic strip pegs.
- NOTE: The standard magnetic strip is 5 metres long. Please purchase more if it is not sufficient for your purpose.
- If the number of work zones is greater than 2, you will need to use a couple of extra magnetic tags.
- This installation guide is not definitive, so use it in relation to your situation.
- If the magnetic strip is too long, it should be shortened as shown.
- If the magnetic strip is not long enough, you can connect two strips as shown.
