Distance to Obstacles
- The boundary cable must be placed 30 cm from obstacles such as bushes, flower beds, trees, walls, fences, stone walls, and paths that are not level with the lawn.
- Paved paths level with the lawn can be crossed by the robotic lawnmower, but ensure that the cable is not lying loosely on top of the path to avoid it being cut.
Note: When the sensors at the front of the robotic lawnmower detect the boundary cable, the robotic lawnmower will change direction.
Fencing
- Garden ponds and edges under 100mm must be fenced to prevent accidents.
- Be especially careful in these areas, especially when the grass is wet.
Obstacles
- Remove tree stumps, covers, and other objects that the robotic lawnmower could drive over.
- Ensure that these obstacles are level with the lawn.
- If removal or adjustment is not possible, fence the obstacles with the boundary cable at a distance of 30 cm all the way around.
High Obstacles
- Robust obstacles higher than 10 cm will be treated as an obstacle by the robotic lawnmower and will automatically change direction.
- Fragile obstacles should be fenced with the boundary cable at a distance of 30 cm around the obstacle.
