BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Before attempting to adjust, repair or replace the battery, blades or other spare parts, it is important that the robot is completely switched off, and that safety equipment such as protective gloves and safety glasses is used.
The battery life depends on workload, maintenance, and winter storage. Under normal conditions, the lifespan will be up to 3-5 years. The battery is replaced by following these steps:
- Turn the robot upside down.
- Remove all grass and dirt around the battery cover before it is removed.
- Unscrew the screws that hold the battery cover in place. Remove the battery cover.
- Gently lift the old battery out. Press the latch and remove the plugs. Note: Do not pull on the wires. Hold the plugs and release the latch.
- Connect a new original battery by plugging in the connectors until they click into place.
- Place the battery back in the holder at the bottom of the chamber, return the battery holder and battery cover to their position, and tighten the screws.
*There is a USB port under the battery cover. This USB port may only be used by an authorised workshop. Ensure that grass and dirt do not get on it.
