The frequency of your robotic lawn mower's charging station
If you experience interference from other installations, or if your neighbour has a similar product, you can change the frequency on the boundary wire to ensure proper functioning. Follow this guide to change the frequency and optimise the installation.
Step 1: Open the charging tower
- To access the frequency button, you need to open the charging tower:
- Press the two click locks – one on each side of the charging station.
- Gently lift the tower up to gain access.
Step 2: Locate the frequency button in the charging station
- Inside the charging station, there is a small button used to change the frequency.
Step 3: Change frequency
- Press the button to change the frequency.
- Note: The diode in the charging station will change colour to indicate the frequency:
- Green: Standard frequency.
- Red: Alternative frequency.
- Note: The diode in the charging station will change colour to indicate the frequency:
- By changing the frequency, you can ensure that the machines can operate with a distance of 60 cm between two installations.
Step 4: Restart the machine
- After changing the frequency, you need to restart the robotic lawn mower:
- Press the power button on the machine.
When is this useful?
- If a neighbour has installed a similar product that interferes with your robotic lawn mower.
- When you want to avoid overlap or interference between two nearby installations.
Tips and recommendations
- Ensure that there is at least 60 cm distance between two installations to avoid signal interference.
- Check that the machine is functioning correctly after changing the frequency.
