Updating firmware.
Preparation:
- Ensure that the robotic lawn mower is within its working area when performing the update.
- Ensure that the battery is fully charged to avoid interruptions during the update.
- Avoid touching the main switch throughout the entire update process.
Downloading and preparing the USB stick:
- Go to www.schou.com to download the latest firmware update.
- Copy the firmware update to an empty USB stick that is FAT32 formatted and has a maximum capacity of 4 GB.
- Double-click the start.bat file to unpack the firmware files to the USB stick.
Update process:
- Set the main switch to the “OFF” position to start the update process.
- Insert the USB stick into the USB port.
- Set the main switch to the “ON” position and then press the “POWER” and “OK” buttons simultaneously for about 3 seconds. All indicator lights should turn green.
- Press the “LOCK/4” button to start the firmware update. When all five indicator lights for working time are lit, the update is complete. This typically takes 3-5 minutes. If the update does not start after 1 minute, it may be due to incorrect usage or a damaged USB stick. In that case, try with a new USB stick.
Completion of the update:
Once the update is finished, the machine will turn off and the USB stick is removed. Replace the USB cover to protect the port.
